Giving at VCOG is more than just contributing financially to the needs of the church, although that need remains vital. Here are three things to think about when offering your blessings to our (or any) church:
- The gift of presence. Our commitment is to spread the Gospel message of Salvation in Jesus Christ to our neighbors far and wide. More than money, the gift of having you visit, watch a YouTube video, check out the food pantry, volunteer to help with the never-ending challenge of upkeep and outreach-these things are the greatest gift anyone can give. - Offerings and donations. In this age of mobility, it’s still not always easy to get to the church physically. That’s why we use Zelle, a program that works with your bank to send funds electronically. Our Zelle address is vcog2010@yahoo.com. Check to see if your financial institution participates. Funds are used for the general work and upkeep of the church, the food ministry and outreach ministries of VCOG.
- Prayer. No matter who you are, or how far away you might be, keep the health of the church and it’s family of attenders in prayer. Lift us up to the Lord, as we do also for you.
